The water visibility on 2017.08.20 was fairly good even for the mouth of the Kawaihae South Small Boat Harbor , KSSBH. This area as evident on the Google map above is often plagued with sediment. Massive coral head at inner Kawaihae Harbor
For some reason this massive healthy plate and pillar, Porites rus coral head had eluded me. I have been looking for this thing. It can be seen from the coral flat area, but I managed to miss it every time I went to look for it.
