I saw four Hawksbill sea turtles today in the harbor. One, HI-044, “boy,” has been a resident since 2020.
Very interesting. I wonder if something is going on with hawksbill populations on the BIg Island. Occurrence and abundance of a lot of species have changed over the last decade or so. Many have decreased in abundance, but some have increased.
