For some reason this massive healthy plate and pillar, Porites rus coral head had eluded me. I have been looking for this thing. It can be seen from the coral flat area, but I managed to miss it every time I went to look for it. It is possible that it is so big that I mistook it for a flat area of colonies. Not sure what my blindness is all about but here it is in all its glory.
