These are enhanced and rendered images of the old Kawaihae shoreline before the harbor. They were upscaled online and then cleaned up with software. The date of the original photo is unknown. The original source was most likely the Bishop Museum. The trees may have all been palm trees in the original photo. The buildings and other manmade structures were too sketchy to identify, except for the obvious few. I have seen a few old images of the shoreline available on the internet; however, this one is the clearest of the shoreline so far. (Some AI was used during online enhancement; however, the image is from a magazine)
