Water temperature 84F-86F,9am-11am.
Today survey of coral bleaching covered inside of Kawaihae Harbor and outside the break wall. Water temperature is average 85F. Temperature at 25ft was 84F recorded outside the breakwall. Cauliflower corals, Pocillopora meandrina appear to be 98%-100% affected through out. Corals at shallow depth in the inside of the harbor are at various stages of stress but less than 40% bleached at this time.
