Small patches of Cauliflower Coral are bleaching as observed north of Hapuna Beach on Sep 2, 2019. Last week of August 2019, showed temperatures above 85F for multiple days from Aug 28th to Sep 3rd. Highest temperature recorded on Aug 28 at 86.7F. The temperatures range between high and low are much more dynamic during this year’s summer months compared to last year.
